The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has revealed that the Government is preparing to engage stakeholders in the creative arts industry, including musicians, to explore strategies aimed at supporting and strengthening their work in Ghana.
Dr. Amoakohene made this announcement during the Expectation Concert hosted by gospel singer Sandy Asare at the Church of Pentecost, Bantama. Addressing the audience, he emphasized the importance of empowering musicians and creatives as a vital part of national development.
In a lighthearted moment that drew laughter from the crowd, the Minister turned to gospel musician Kweku Teye and said, “I owe you royalties. I used your songs for my campaign.”
