Zhikay Launches ‘THE MIND SHIFT CAMPAIGN’ to Educate Students on Social Media Awareness at Saps School

Ghanaian award-winning blogger Zhikay Ike Junior has started his first “THE MIND SHIFT CAMPAIGN” at Sap’s School.

The campaign aims to touch the lives of students by educating them on the use of social media.

On Thursday, February 13th, Zhikay and his team made their first appearance for “THE MIND SHIFT CAMPAIGN,” engaging with young students at Sap’s School in Teshie-Nungua, located in the Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipal Assembly in Greater Accra.

Zhikay shared his initiative on this campaign, with the goal of teaching students how to use social media and how it can impact their lives.

“The Mindshift campaign is an initiative by Zhikay IkeJunior and team. The purpose of this campaign is to orient Students in Ghana about Social Media. The school tour will delve into the overview of social media and how it can be used to impact society positively,” he stated on his social media platforms.

During the campaign at Sap’s School, Zhikay advised students to use social media wisely.

He illustrated this by using a mirror to show how social media reflects their true selves.

Zhikay embarked on “THE MIND SHIFT CAMPAIGN” with popular Ghanaian content creators “Freedom Official” and “Quecy Official.” Together, they created an educational and engaging atmosphere for the students.

Sharing photos from the campaign on Facebook, Zhikay also emphasized the importance of listening to children’s concerns, which include mental health, emotions, and societal acceptance. “We must not consider children as just minors, they have genuine concerns that revolve around mental health, emotions, societal acceptance and others. We must create avenues for their voice to be heard,” he stated.

The campaign included education, games, and entertainment. Some students received customized “Zhikay” ietms as rewards for their hard work.

This initiative seems to be made a positive impact on the students.
