To Pull A Concert At Accra Sports Stadium Is No Joke, Well Done Joe Mettle – Dr. Sonnie Badu
USA- based Ghanaian gospel minister Dr. Sonnie Badu has congratulated Joe Mettle for successfully hosting his Praise Reloaded event at the Accra Sports Stadium.
In a message on Instagram, monitored by blogger Skbeatz Records, Dr. Sonnie praised Joe Mettle for drawing over 30,000 people to the stadium for worship.
He stated , “A big congratulations to you Oscar @joemettle. Hosting a concert at a stadium is no joke; you have done incredibly well.”
Dr. Sonnie who recalled his own November 2014 event, “Africa Worships With Sonnie Badu,” years ago, which was affected by heavy rain but remains one of the most attended shows in the stadium’s history. He congratulated Joe Mettle for filling the stadium and inspiring Ghanaians with his music.
Despite his congratulations, Dr. Sonnie is preparing for his own “Rhythms of Africa” event this year.
Praise Reloaded featured Nathaniel Bassey, William McDowell, Sunmisola Agbebi, Pastor Isaiah Fosu-Kwaku Jnr, MOGmusic, Ohemaa Mercy, Team Eternity and more.
Dr. Sonnie not only congratulated Joe Mettle but also prayed for him and encouraged other ministers to take bold steps of faith.
