Richlove is one of the voices behind most popular Ghanaian hit songs. Let’s Honor her- Empress Gifty
Ghanaian gospel singer and fashion icon Empress Gifty has praised fellow gospel singer Richlove Ofosuhemaa and called for recognition of her contributions to the Ghanaian music industry.
In an interview on Kessben TV, held before Richlove’s “The Purpose Concert” on August 4, 2024, at Family Chapel in Kumasi, Empress Gifty spoke highly of Richlove.
The concert followed a press conference on May 31, 2024, where Richlove announced her return to the music scene after a long break.
Empress Gifty, who was the main guest artiste at the concert, stated that Richlove deserves great respect. She highlighted that Richlove has been the background vocalist for many of the hit songs that Ghanaians love. “Most of the hit songs Ghanaians have ever listened to featured her voice,” Empress Gifty stated.
Despite the praise, Empress Gifty stressed the importance of honoring Richlove’s talent. “It’s time we recognize her, accept her, and support her so she can benefit all of Ghana and especially Kumasi,” she added.
Empress Gifty believes that this marks the beginning of Richlove’s ministry after working behind the scenes with musicians for over 15 years. She noted that Richlove is now ready to shine, as she is talented, anointed, and has a beautiful voice. Additionally, she is proud to be from the Ashanti region.
Richlove’s comeback concert was a success, with powerful performances from her and other guest artistes, including Empress Gifty, Jojo Arhin, Quame Gyedu, Sandy Asare, Sylaz, Lady Lucy and others.
As someone who has benefited from Richlove’s dedication and commitment, Empress Gifty is urging everyone to strongly support her as she embarks on this new chapter.
