Filming ‘Money Declaration’ at the market scene was incredibly emotional – Sonnie Badu
Dr. Sonnie Badu shared his deep emotions while filming the music video for his new single, “MONEY DECLARATION ,” at a local market.
In a recent social media post, he described how emotional it was to see people working so hard just to feed their families.
“Filming the market scene for the music video was incredibly emotional. It’s heartbreaking to witness how hard some people work just to feed their families, sometimes making less than $20 a day,” he wrote.
Reflecting on his experiences and the struggles faced by many in Africa, the Ghanaian US-based singer commented, “Life can be incredibly tough in Africa.”
The music video features lively market women selling their goods, dancing, while Sonnie Badu explores the market in a yellow Lamborghini. He dances, buys items, and shows off his cash, while the GG Brass Band adds a special touch to the scene.
Moved by the hard work of the market vendors, Dr. Sonnie Badu used his new song “MONEY DECLARATION” to pray for all those striving to support their families in difficult economic times. “That’s why I’m praying this prayer for you: May clients and customers find you wherever you go. May you never be broke another day. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.”
The “MONEY DECLARATION ” music video, directed by Skyweb Videos, has already garnered over 431,000 views on YouTube since its release on Sunday, July 14, 2024.
