Gospel singer Afia Ayiwah boldly claims that not all pastors and gospel musicians are truly called by God, following a shocking murder case.
She made these remarks during an interview on Max 89.7 FM, where she discussed matters affecting the church and society.
Her comments followed a shocking story about a Nigerian pastor who reportedly murdered his girlfriend and beheaded her. Reacting to the incident, Afia Ayiwah expressed deep concern and used the opportunity to speak about fake ministers and musicians hiding behind religion.
According to her, carrying a Bible does not automatically make someone a pastor. She explained that the Bible has become common, and many people misuse it for their own interests, without any genuine calling or fear of God. She also pointed out that not everyone who sings gospel music has been called by God.
Afia Ayiwah described the murder case as a clear sign of someone who lacks the fear of God. She stressed that anyone who truly fears and follows God would not be capable of such a cruel and heartless act.
