“A Lot of People Want to Be ‘Chris’ but They Don’t Want to Be ‘Abeiku’” — A Word from Pizza Man Co-founder

Last weekend at “Fill the UPSA Auditorium with Moses Arthur, Ebenezer Essuman-Amankwah, co-founder of the popular Ghanaian food brand Pizza Man-Chicken Man, delivered a striking statement:

“A lot of people want to be ‘Chris’, but they don’t want to be ‘Abeiku’.”

This line speaks to a deep truth about success and the journey it takes to get there. “Chris” refers to the public figure—the successful entrepreneur everyone now celebrates. But “Abeiku” symbolizes the lesser-known beginnings, the hard work, rejection, and sacrifices made behind the scenes.
