Dr. Sonnie Badu is the first African to be recorded by Danny Duncan 11 years ago

Ghanaian gospel musician and Pastor Dr. Sonnie Badu, who is based in the US, is the first African artiste to be recorded by Danny Duncan, a multi-Grammy Award-winning recording engineer.

In a recent video, Sonnie Badu praised Danny Duncan for his ongoing support and encouragement.

 “Danny has been a very good brother, a good friend. Every now and then, he texts me to say it is time to record,” Sonnie Badu shared.

Danny Duncan has a long history of working with Sonnie Badu for 11 years. He recorded Sonnie Badu’s “Colours of Africa Live in London” and “Soundz of Afrika Album Live in South Africa.” These albums have received global acclaim, touching many lives with their powerful messages.

Danny Duncan, known for working with top international artistes like William McDowell, Andraé Crouch, Michael McDonald, Israel Houghton, Tasha Cobbs, Hillsong, T.D. Jakes, and Michael W. Smith, and more, highlighted the importance of his current project with Sonnie Badu. “The most important project I’ve ever done is what I’m working on right now,” he said.

Dr. Sonnie Badu is preparing for his live recording event at RockHill Church in Atlanta, Georgia, called “INTIMACY with DANNY DUNCAN.” As the lead pastor of RockHill Church, he promises an unforgettable event. His new song, “MONEY,” which was released on Sunday, July 14, 2024, is already performing well on digital platforms.
