We Didn’t Expect Lots of Kumasi People Will Show Up At Nana Yaw’s Concert -Photographer ATTUQUAYE

Blogger SkBeatz Records, staying true to his tradition of event updates, conducted exclusive interviews following the successful “FIRE FESTIVAL” event by rising Urban-Gospel Musician Nana Yaw Ofori-Attah and THE OASIS COLLECTIVE.

The event, which attracted nearly a thousand attendees, exceeded expectations and surprised the host and the team with the enthusiastic turnout from Kumasi.

In an interview with Ghanaian photographer Aubrey Attuquaye Korley, known as Photographer Attuquaye, he expressed his astonishment at the warm reception in Kumasi. He remarked, “We thank God, we never anticipated that Kumasi would embrace us like this, despite us being from Kumasi. It’s all been God.” Considering the recent school reopening and the usual low early attendance, the large turnout at KNUST’s campus was unexpected.

Photographer Attuquaye, who knows Nana Yaw well, praised him as a determined individual, calling him a “go-getter,” someone who actively pursues and achieves their goals. Reflecting on Nana Yaw’s journey from Joyfulway Incorporation to his current stage presence, Attuquaye shared his admiration and noted there is nothing about Nana Yaw he doesn’t like.

Can you also receive positive feedback from those around you? Reflect on it!

Nana Yaw and THE OASIS COLLECTIVE, understanding their audience and their strengths, delivered a remarkable event featuring performances by Children of God in choreography, spoken word by LOGOLIGI, and powerful ministrations from Kyei Mensah, Peculiar People, CV Osei, Nana Yaw, and THE OASIS COLLECTIVE.

May 18, 2024, was an unexpected delight for Attuquaye and the team, but it was a memorable moment for the people of Kumasi.
